North West Fam Trip with Macdonald Hotels

Zoe from Morris Conferencing attended a weekend fam trip to the North West to visit three stunning venues in the area. The trip began at the Tickled Trout in Preston which is ideally located just off the M6, it has ample meeting space and is brilliant for guests who need to be close to a motorway or are on the move. The buffet put on for us was excellent and there was a huge range to choose from, steak to fish to vegetarian options.

After a fun experience at the Chill Factore in Manchester the next morning – we travelled to the Lymm Hotel near Warrington to view the facilities there and to have a spot of afternoon tea. The meeting space at the Lymm is brilliant for smaller meetings of up to 120 with lots of natural daylight flooding into the main meeting room. After this we went on to Kilhey Court in Wigan which is a stunning venuethat has 13 meetings rooms and meeting space for 350 in its purpose built conference centre. The venue also has lots of spa facilities on offer which is brilliant for incentives or extra activities along side a conference. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are very modern with powerful showers.

The dinner that we were given in the evening was exceptional and was cooked to perfection. As guests we were really looked after by everyone at Macdonald Hotels and would recommend them for service, uniqueness and spectacular food.
